  We ordered five dishes for pick up and the vegeterian lettuce wrap tasted like gasoline! The owner admittedly said that the cook must have added too much cooking wine and told him not to add so much anymore. I would think he should have known how to cook their dishes. So the owner said I can return it for a refund of the cost of the dish, not more. When I explained to her that I am the one having to drive back and forth, and that I felt that she was unapologetic, she offered me another two dollars for my troubles which in the end she did not give. She was more worried about what her partner would say to her than keeping a customer. In the end she offered me 25% off my next order I declined because I won't be coming back as the rest of the food was less than adequate.

  This is the local Chinese food place. Can't complain about the food. It's typical North America Chinese food. I guess because it's good and it's the only Chinese place in town... they can afford to have less than adequate service and timings. Don't think about ordering food without at least 1.5 hour wait for a large group... we are 8, it's a looongggg wait to get fed. Parking is ok, it's clean, it's tasty, but don't be in a hurry... plus it does get crowded on the typical family days hours like on the weekend. They would do well to have a remote kitchen dedicated to delivery orders... and keep the restaurant kitchen for the restaurant guess. We like the food and it's the only local place... so we will be back and will keep ordering... but please figure something out before Tsawwassen grow by 20000+ people. Lastly... since we like beer... support local micro brewery... at least give use the options. Thank you.
