  Went in for dinner tonight Jan 31, waitress took our order then we were left alone, the food arrived my deep fried prawns were out of this world, there was two other people in my party, and they were not 100% happy with their food. When it came time to pay, the waitress told us she took off 10%. I gave her the money and there was $5: and some change, I placed the change into my wallet and left $5:00 on the table. When we were walking out she approached me, yelling at me that it was not right that I didn't leave her a tip. I said you need your eyes checked again she yelled at me, that I was bad customer that I did not leave her a tip. I pointed towards the table, I said look. She looked and picked up the money, oh o.k. thank you. Never have I been stripped of my dignity as I walked out she said sorry!. Yeah you will be. that is my review. Now to the BBB. 4 star restaurant my ass.

  Great food. Friendly owner, but no professional wait staff. It is obvious that the food I had was made fresh and not with pre-canned sauces and bagged vegetables. Meat was better quality than others for the similar price. Recommended, even if the fluorescent lighting is bright and carpeting is worn.

  Really great. First time visitor and was very happy. The food tasted great. I had one dish that was really cold, but they took it back and reheated it. Otherwise, the place was great and I'll faintly be back

  Lotus never disappoints. Best dimsum around. Great food great prices.
